Stress is inevitable, but being resilient can protect you from its harmful health effects. Join us on October, 10, 2019 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at in the Baptist Auditorium to hear how stress impacts your physical and emotional health, tips for building resilience in order to cope with stressors, and how you can incorporate resilience building into your home and work life.
Dr. Rachel Brown is certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She received her MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 2000 and completed her residency training at the Palmetto Health Family Medicine Residency Program in 2003. She worked as the predoctoral director and associate residency program director at the Palmetto Health Family Medicine Residency for twelve years. She was then hired by Palmetto Health as the Medical Director of Health and Wellness. Dr Brown also owns Free To Move Fitness, LLC and certified Exercise Group Fitness Instructor and an International Youth Conditioning Association Youth Fitness Specialist.After the seminar, stop by the PHCU table for a special prize for National Credit Union Week.
