Join us August 6 at 5 Med Park, Classroom 1B from 12pm to 1pm to find out!Participants will explore the impact being a helping professional has on their personal and professional life. The goal is to find ways to help professionals find balance while continuing to fulfill their professional calling and purpose.
Our speaker, Tanieka Ward-Akabane is a Community Education Coordinator for MSA Hospice. Her primary focus is on educating and engaging healthcare professionals and the community on a variety of topics from Aging and Technology to Self-Care for Professionals. Tanieka holds degrees from Wingate University (BS in Human Services) and the University of South Carolina (Masters in Public Administration and Social Work). Tanieka finds that her passion and gifts are for professional and community education and is delighted to focus her talents accordingly.
