Fire Safety & Using a Fire Extinguisher

Did you know that home heating fires are the leading cause of home fires and fatalities? Join us for a free fire safety seminar sponsored by Palmetto Health Credit Union and presented by Bengie Leverett, Public Fire Education Officer with the Columbia Fire Department, who stresses "Fire Prevention through Education".

Come learn how to properly use a fire extinguisher, the different types of fire extinguishers, heating safety tips for space heaters, chimneys and carbon monoxide.
