Understanding & Identifying Elder Financial Abuse

If you or someone you know has a loved one who is elderly or been diagnosed with dementia, don't miss this very informative workshop/webinar presented by Abdalla Straker, the Executive Director and Resident Gerontologist with Straight Road International.

-What is dementia, and what are the signs and symptoms?

- What are the different types of dementia?

- Can dementia be cured or treated?

- What is elder financial abuse, and how is it perpetrated?

- Who are the perpetrators of elder financial abuse?

- What can one do to avoid being a victim of elder financial abuse, and what can you do if you are?

In-Person Workshop- Lunch Provided

The event will be held on Thursday, November 21st, from 12:00pm-2:00pm, in Prisma Health's 9 Medical Park Classroom 130, located on the first floor. In-person attendance requires pre-registration and will be limited to 40 people. A boxed lunch will be provided.
